Terms of use

Interactive Lessons Live (class.interactivelessons.nl) is a service of Interactive Lessons, Willem Kloospad 2 , 2624 VK, Delft (KvK 98059971). Questions? Email contact@interactivelessons.nl or use the contact form.

With the service a teacher creates classes and gives live online lessons with the Math Explorer applets. Pupils join with a class code or a link, without an account. Lessons run on our own BigBlueButton server.

• An account is personal and meant for teachers, tutors and educators.
• You give correct details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
• You can delete your account yourself at any time on the My account page.

After confirming your email address you can use the full service for free for 14 days. The trial stops by itself; nothing is charged.

• A subscription runs per month or per year and renews automatically for the same period. The current prices are on the Pricing page.
• The subscriptions and what they give (such as the number of pupils in a lesson and the number of classes) are on the Pricing page; the limits of your subscription apply in your lessons. Going up to a bigger subscription counts at once, and you pay the difference for the rest of the current period. Going down counts from the next period.
• You pay in advance through our payment provider Mollie. You receive an invoice by email after every payment.
• You can stop the subscription at any time on the My account page. You can keep using the service until the end of the period you have paid for; after that nothing more is charged. We do not refund part of a period, except in the case of section 6.
• We announce price changes by email at least 30 days in advance. They apply from the next renewal; you can stop before that date.

If you take out the subscription as a consumer, you can cancel it within 14 days of the first payment without giving a reason, by emailing contact@interactivelessons.nl. Because the service starts at once at your request, we refund the amount minus the part you have already used.

• You use the service only for education and within the law. You do not post content that is unlawful, offensive or infringing.
• You are responsible for your lessons and for supervising your pupils during the lesson. Share pupil links and class codes only with your pupils.
• You do not try to disturb or bypass the service, or to query it automatically.
• In case of misuse we may block an account temporarily or permanently.

We do our best to keep the service available without interruption, but cannot guarantee it. We plan maintenance outside school hours as much as possible.

The applets, texts and software of the service remain ours or our licensors'. You may use them in your lessons while your account is active. What you make yourself (such as notes on the whiteboard) remains yours.

How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy. For pupils' data the data processing agreement applies.

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the damage. We are not liable for indirect damage. These limits do not apply in case of intent or gross negligence.

We may change these terms. We announce important changes by email at least 30 days in advance.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the Netherlands.
