Pupils' data
- Pupils have no account. They type a name or nickname, which the teacher and the class see during the lesson.
- Lessons are not recorded (no sound, image or chat).
- After the lesson the lesson server deletes the list of participants and the chat. We keep the whiteboard of a lesson (what was drawn) for 30 days, so the teacher can look back at it.
- The servers' technical log files contain the IP address and the typed name. They are only used for administration and security, and are deleted after at most 4 weeks.
Cookies
We only use two functional cookies: one keeps you logged in (session) and one remembers your language. No advertising or tracking cookies, no third-party analytics.
Who receives data?
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): our servers are in data centres in the EU.
- Mollie B.V. (the Netherlands): processes your payment. Your bank or card details never reach us.
We do not sell data and do not give it to others, unless the law requires it.
Security
All connections are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). We store passwords only as a hash. Only administrators can access the servers. Attempts to guess codes or passwords are blocked.
Your rights
You can see, correct or delete your data, and object to its use. Much of this you can do yourself on My account; for the rest, email contact@interactivelessons.nl. A pupil (or parent) can turn to the teacher or school, or to us. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
